Save Our Planet Challenge

 Submission Requirements

Each essay should address only one of the topics in your chosen subject category. The essay should not exceed 1500 words—excluding diagrams, tables of data, footnotes, bibliography, etc. Please submit your essay, saved in PDF format, through our website. Please use MLA format and citation.  

 

Judging Criteria

Essays will be judged on the following criteria: understanding of the relevant material, apt use of evidence, soundness of the argument, overall structure, and writing quality.

 

Grade Level 

Be a current high school freshman or above.

Academic Requirement

Must demonstrate academic ability, intellectual curiosity, and strong character traits to undertake challenging research questions.          

 

English Fluency

Must be able to conduct in-depth academic research and produce high level academic writing.

 

Other

ChallengeU accepts submissions from all countries as long as the conditions above are met.

Please submit your work in PDF format to info@challengeu.org. When sending the email, please use the following email subject line: Submission­_Competition Name. Your email should include your first and last name, date of birth, school name and grade. Any submission with missing information will not be considered.
